Eco Hinge - Helpful install tips

Eco vanishing hinge install tips. We will keep adding to this.

Joist layout and placement details:

• Critical joist placement
• 5mm gap between boards is essential otherwise they will not lift
• Measure your 4 boards from back of the coping
• In this case, workout the 4th board placement( from the back of the coping) and the back side joist set placement
• Measure 410mm back towards the pool, from the inside to inside 140mm joists. This will give you the placement of the poolside joist set
• Use the decking board set out to help guide you on the backside joist set
• Once you have fixed the timber lifting lid down to 3 x hinges, add 45mm x 45mm x 3mm aluminium right angle to the centre of the under side of the timber board

To install the Eco hinge brackets and chassis. Install the 140mm joists and right angle brackets (Highlighted in RED). 

Frame the 90mm x 45mm so they will sit within the 140mm joists

Mark off your nail line, which will be your bracket placements on the 90 x 45mm joists

Install your right angle brackets every 500mm apart

place your 90 x 45mm framed brackets and joists into place

Fix 90 x 45mm joists back to your 140mm joists
