I'd like to give a big shout out to Justin and especially Zack & Ratana for sorting out the problem I had with our newly installed thermal cover. When pulling to cover our pool the middle of it was bunching in the middle and hard to pull. After discussions with Justin he assured me it would be rectified. Yesterday the boys travelled from Auckland to Whitianga and within an hour had sorted the cover and also loosened up the roller in the downunder. Everything is now working great. Again thanks heaps Zack & Ratana
Just a word of advice for anyone looking to get one of their downunder roller systems installed for their pool cover. Definitely talk to Justin first. I wish we had known about them before we got ours installed by someone else here in Whitianga. I'll leave it at that, but happy to answer any queries if anyone needs some advice. Cheers Kevin

I've just completed a 75,000 litre 11m x 5 m concrete in-ground pool, with UV and magnesium salt sanitation. Heating such a beast is the issue - I'm a big advocate for solar heating as I had that in my last pool. I was introduced to Justin and his Sunbather team, as my previous supplier is out of business.
Justin's enthusiasm for the solution and the product is infectious. I found his depth of knowledge and commitment to a quality installation to be just the thing to round out the project. 75,000 litres is a big volume of water - to extend the season by up to four months, Justin talked me through considering adding gas heating (not supplied by Sunbather) instead of a deeply inefficient electric heat pump, with solar taking over completely from November - late May. A top quality Sunbather 4mm heat blanket and roll away mechanism kept the heat in, and the pool-side presentation crisp and clean. Justin calculated the amount of panels on the roof, and suggests 10-15 years life more than possible - just outstanding !
The results are now in - my gas heating gives me 1.5C/hour into the pool summer or winter, but at a gas cost of approx $40/day. Solar, on the other hand, has given me over 4C/day - in a 75,000 litre pool, no less. The solar on the roof regularly shows 40+C temperatures when ambient temperatures are around 20C. Better still, my previous solar experience confirms no running costs, at all, and through life maintenance is minimal. The 4mm blanket holds a 29C pool at temp, with just a 0.5C drop overnight - easily recovered the following day by solar. The solar as installed by Justin is effectively fit and forget - it just does its thing automatically.
Can't speak highly enough about Justin and his team - the pool is a major investment and no room for mediocre solutions. Justin delivered, in spades. Want to see commitment ? That's Justin in my pool in mid-winter at 12C installing the solar outlets - I'm holding him down with the broom !!

Justin and his team have in depth knowledge and instilled absolute confidence. The proof as they say, is in the pudding. The system exceeds all expectations and follow up and questions are answered promptly. I have no doubt I will not need after sales service, but if I did am confident it would be superb.
