How to Use Pool Solar

Power On

Make sure all power plugs are connected correctly if the solar is not working.

Check that:

1 All timers are set correctly

2 The controller is set to Auto

3 The time is set correctly on the controller or app

The solar controller and pool pump must be plugged in together. This ensures that when the

pool pump runs, the solar controller turns on as well.

Important

If you are ever unsure while carrying out maintenance, simply unplug the solar pump from the solar

controller before doing any work around the pump shed or filter area.

Connecting to the Sunswitch V2 App

To link the controller to the Sunswitch V2 app, turn the power off and then back on to enter link

mode.

Winter Setting

During winter, you can either set the system to winter mode so the pump runs once a day, or unplug

the pool solar from the controller.

For V2 controllers, go through the menu and select Winter Mode.

For V1 controllers (cream controller), push and hold the ON/OFF button for 10 seconds.

Troubleshooting

If water is not running, check the following:

1 Power is going to the controller

2 The timer is set correctly

3 There is water available on the line

4 Nothing is stuck in the pool line

5 The solar pump is plugged in correctly
